The aim of this article is to assist employees with password usage.

There are 2 passwords that are currently linked.

  1. Your WLR Computer password (also referred to as the Active Directory password), this is used to log into your computer each day, it is required to be changed every 90 days.
  2. Your WLR 365 password. This password is not required to be changed as it also uses Multi-Factor Authentication via the Microsoft Authenticator.

Your WLR Computer Password is the same for your computer, Corporate VPN (location managers will have a separate login and password), Location Managers for the Intranet, WLR Corporate Wireless and Policy Tech. You will login with the same username and password on all of these sites/programs/computers. This also means when you change your password, you will need to use the newly changed password on all the above. Please double check your wireless settings if you use it after you change your password.

Your WLR 365 password is used for your email, office programs (Excel, OneNote, Word), Teams, Monday, IT Support Portal. The username/password will be WLR email and password combination. As stated above, the WLR 365 credentials are backed by the Microsoft Authenticator. This means, if you purchase a new phone, you should contact IT as soon as possible so that we may assist you in transferring your authenticator to your new phone, as it is locked to the hardware of the phone.

We hope this helps with your logins. Many logins that are not listed here usually have a forgot password link on their corresponding web page (eg PN3, Litmos and ADP).
